In an interview with SFC, Alex Zhang, CEO of R?der Asia, shared insights into the company's journey in the Chinese market. He highlighted that R?der Group entered China in 2004, establishing a factory in Shanghai with the initial goal of producing tents for its headquarters in Germany. However, since then, the company has experienced rapid growth, evolving to serve not only China but the global market. Over the past 20 years, R?der has thrived thanks to China's robust growth and strong local support. Looking ahead, the company plans to further expand its R&D capabilities in China and deepen its collaboration with local design institutions, envisioning a future where China serves as the "brain" of its global operations, complemented by a worldwide production network.
