迎接新世紀紀念鈔
為迎接新世紀、新千年的到來,中國人民銀行于2000年11月28日在全國發行了“迎接新世紀”一套(一張)。 “迎接新世紀”鈔面額為100元,票幅長165毫米,寬80毫米,材質為塑料。其主色調為金黃色,正面主景以北京九龍壁為設計依據,“龍”的左側為“火珠”吉祥圖案,票面左側透明視窗為“天壇”圖案,右側為動態全息標志。背面主景為迎接新世紀的代表性建筑──中華世紀壇,上方為中國傳統“飛天”圖案和“中國人民銀行”漢語拼音,右上方為中華人民共和國國徽圖案,右下方為蒙、藏、維、壯四種民族文字的“中國人民銀行”字樣和面額。與現行人民幣具有相同職能,與同等面額人民幣等值流通。這張紀念鈔正面設計是依據北京北海公園九龍壁上“大升龍”設計而成,威嚴肅穆,似在歡欣鼓舞。龍鈔的背面圖案為迎接新世紀的代表性建筑“中華世紀壇”。票面的整體色調為橘黃色,大大凸顯皇家氣概。
