【藏品簡介】：民國十六年（1927年）國民革命軍北伐攻克南京，4月宣告建都后，國民政府積極籌劃發行以孫中山肖像為圖案的新國幣，民國十八年(1929年)國民政府擬定設計新的國幣以取代流通已久的袁世凱像銀幣和孫中山像中華民國開國紀念幣，決定采用孫中山先生的頭像為中國銀元之圖案，以紀念“國父”。
