【藏品簡介】：范國昌先生，出生于1951年，山西太原人。中國國家書畫院副院長、中國當代藝術協會副主席、中國藝術工作者協會終身名譽會長、中國藝術家交流協會終身名譽主席、山西省形意拳協會副主席、山西省詩詞協會會員、山西今日美術館副館長、太原市工藝美術研究院副院長。范國昌先生書畫，曾獲得《獻給祖國,獻給母親》中國書畫名家大賽金獎、中國當代文人書畫藝術大展賽金獎、《金猴之春》中國楹聯書法大賽銀獎、第七屆世界華人藝術大會香港大型書畫展國際藝術金爵獎等50多次榮譽，作品被東方古今藝術館、當代老年書畫藝術研究會、中國書畫藝術研究會、毛澤東文學院、雷峰紀念館、韶山市政府等單位收藏。作品入編中國書畫家作品典庫、中國當代書畫藝術家傳世名典、現代書畫精典、中華書畫寶典等20 多部書畫作品集。被授予中國優秀書畫家等稱號。

此詩寫一劍客，李锳《詩法易簡錄》說它:"豪爽之氣，溢于行間。""十年磨一劍"，表明此劍凝聚劍客多年心力，非同一般。"霜刃未曾試"，表現劍刃寒光閃爍，鋒利無比，但卻未曾試過它的鋒芒。雖說"未曾試"，而躍躍欲試之意已流于言外。此兩句詠物而兼自喻，詩人未寫十年寒窗苦讀，也未正面寫自己的才華和理想，然而通過托物言志，已可洞悉詩人的心理。與孟浩然《送朱大入秦》相比，雖同寫游俠，而寓意似更深入一層。

賈島詩思奇僻。這首《劍客》卻率意造語，直吐胸臆，給人別具一格的感覺。詩題一作《述劍》。詩人以劍客的口吻，著力刻畫“劍”和“劍客”的形象，托物言志，抒寫自己興利除弊的政治抱負。
這是一把什么樣的劍呢？“十年磨一劍”，是劍客花了十年工夫精心磨制的。側寫一筆，已顯出此劍非同一般。接著，正面一點：“霜刃未曾試。”寫出此劍刃白如霜，閃爍著寒光，是一把鋒利無比卻還沒有試過鋒芒的寶劍。說“未曾試”，便有躍躍欲試之意。現在得遇知賢善任的“君”，便充滿自信地說：“今日把示君，誰有不平事？”今天將這把利劍拿出來給你看看，告訴我，天下誰有冤屈不平的事？一種急欲施展才能，干一番事業的壯志豪情，躍然紙上，顯然，“劍客”是詩人自喻，而“劍”則比喻自己的才能。詩人沒有描寫自己十年寒窗，刻苦讀書的生涯，也沒有表白自己出眾的才能和宏大的理想，而是通過巧妙的藝術構思，把自己的意想，含而不露地融入“劍”和“劍客”的形象里。這種寓政治抱負于鮮明形象之中的表現手法，確是很高明的。
