【藏品簡介】：壽山石，是出產于中國福建省壽山鄉壽山村的一種著名珍稀篆刻名石，因其產量稀少，而顯彌足珍貴，清朝時曾受到皇帝的寵愛，早有“易金三倍”之說，享有“石帝”之美譽！早在一千多年前，我國已有人開始采集壽山石，到了明清兩代壽山石更是盛名于世。許多達官顯貴，文人雅士競相刻意收集壽山石。相傳清初時期皇帝祭祀天地，神案上都少不了一方上品壽山石。
[collection introduction]: Shoushan stone is a famous rare seal cutting stone produced in Shoushan village, Shoushan Township, Fujian Province, China. It is very precious because of its scarce output. It was favored by the emperor in the Qing Dynasty. It has long been said that "gold is three times easier" and enjoys the reputation of "stone emperor"! As early as more than a thousand years ago, people in China began to collect Shoushan stone. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Shoushan stone was even more famous in the world. Many dignitaries and scholars competed to collect Shoushan stones. It is said that in the early Qing Dynasty, the emperor offered sacrifices to heaven and earth, and there was a top-grade Shoushan stone in the God case.
壽山石材質溫潤凝膩，在軟質雕刻石中居第一品。明、清各朝均被作為貢品獻入皇宮，被雕刻成御用璽印及藝術擺件，故壽山石又被尊為“石中之王”、“石帝”，故其身價無與倫比。從壽山石的屬性看，凡經雕鐫的藝術品，都可以當作文物看待，因為它不能復制，屬于沒有再生性的藝術品。

壽山石質地細潤、多蘿卜紋。其外形呈卵狀，棱角不明顯。看不到色紋的滲染，用手摸之有潤滑感。外表常有一薄層黃色或黑色的石皮包裹。穿過石皮，其內部質地溫潤細膩，在強光下可見羅列有致、密而不亂的似蘿卜內的絲網紋狀微細紋理，即“蘿卜紋”。其紋理猶如紅色筋絡。其色澤深淺濃淡不同，按色相可分為黃金黃、枇杷黃、橘皮黃、雞油黃、熟栗黃、桐油黃等。壽山石顏色以金黃、橘黃、枇杷黃為最佳。壽山石具有黃金般的光澤。半透明或更透明的壽山石，稱為壽山石凍，是壽山石之極品。
