【藏品簡介】:石瓢最早稱為“石銚”,“銚”在《辭海》中釋為“吊子,一種有柄,有流的小烹器”。“銚”從金屬器皿變?yōu)樘掌鳎钤缫娪诒彼未髮W(xué)士蘇軾《試院煎茶》詩:“且學(xué)公家作名欽,磚爐石銚行相隨”。蘇東坡把金屬“銚”改為石“銚”,這“銚”也即后人所稱的“東坡提梁”壺,可謂最早的紫砂“石銚”壺。最終改成石瓢,應(yīng)從顧景舟時期說起,顧老引用古文“弱水三千,僅飲一瓢”,“石銚”應(yīng)稱“石瓢”。陳曼生與朱石梅分別在其參與的石銚壺銘文: "煮白石,泛綠云,一瓢細(xì)酌邀桐君"、"梅花一瓢,東閣招邀"。

由于歷代制作石瓢壺的名家非常多,于是在傳承的過程中便以具有代表意義的名家名字來作為紫砂壺款式名稱,如典型代表有楊彭年、陳曼生、瞿子冶、朱石梅、王東石、顧景舟等人。瓢的整體共性是:石瓢壺以三足立身,即底置三足、身碓形、蓋橋鈕。而在從古自今的創(chuàng)作演變中,藝師會以個人的審美角度改良創(chuàng)新,如石瓢有圈把、提梁之別;由當(dāng)代實力派藝師馬璟輝改創(chuàng)的納瓢等作品。在石瓢紫砂壺類最具代表的壺型之一即:子冶石瓢(瞿應(yīng)紹,字子冶,號月壺,晚號瞿甫,又署老冶、壺公冶父,室名“毓秀堂”,官至浙江玉環(huán)同知,清中期書畫家。最善畫竹,蘭、柳亦工,兼能書法篆刻)繼曼生之后,又一位與紫砂壺藝術(shù)密切結(jié)合的文人,他將書法繪畫與紫砂壺結(jié)合起來,開創(chuàng)了屬于自己的文人風(fēng)貌,人稱“瞿壺”。
