陳岳，字綠湖，號嶺南醉客、綠湖居士，廣東省龍川縣人。中國書法名家、實力派書畫家、九鼎藝術家、中國國際藝術協會顧問，被選入國家人才庫。被中國國際現代藝術研究中心評為“金獎藝術家”、并榮獲“當代書法藝術名家”稱號，同時為中國國際現代藝術研究中心高級研究員，英國牛津藝術學院研究生導師。2018和2019連續兩年在兩會期間入編“人民代表報”，為兩會代言獻禮。2019年，陳岳老師的作品被選為“建國70周年大閱兵”國禮珍品（全國限量，僅100套），并入選大閱兵特刊，授予榮譽勛章。

1976年中師畢業后，直調縣政府工作，曾擔任縣長秘書。1986年加入惠陽地區書協。1988年河源建市，調市政府部門工作。業余時間堅持書法練習，潛心研究歷史名家的法帖并以之為師，同時還研習當代名家書法精品，吸取其技巧及章法，筆耕不止，樂在其中，四十多年來，正、草、隸、楷、行兼學，書法技藝有了長足進步。但依然始終堅持低調行事，在河源二十多年里，堅持“四不”，即：不個展、不立傳、不參賽、不參會。多年來，走訪了祖國許多名山大川、名勝古跡，認真觀摩碑林石刻，開闊了視野，博采眾長形成有自己個性的書法藝術風格，走進國內國際書畫市場。
After graduating from the secondary normal school in 1976, he was directly transferred to the county government and once served as the Secretary of the county magistrate. He joined Huiyang Book Association in 1986. In 1988, Heyuan was established and transferred to the municipal government. In his spare time, he insisted on calligraphy practice, devoted himself to studying the calligraphy of famous historical masters and took them as his teacher. At the same time, he also studied the fine calligraphy of contemporary famous masters, absorbed their skills and composition, and enjoyed writing. Over the past 40 years, he has learned both Zheng, Cao, Li, Kai and Xing, and his calligraphy skills have made great progress. However, he has always kept a low profile. For more than 20 years in Heyuan, he has adhered to the "four noes", that is, no solo exhibition, no biography, no competition and no participation in the conference. Over the years, he has visited many famous mountains and rivers, places of interest and historic sites in the motherland, carefully observed the forest of Steles and stone carvings, broadened his vision, learned from others, formed his own personalized calligraphy art style, and entered the domestic and international calligraphy and painting market.

——記著名書法家陳岳
孫過庭寫書譜，有感于自己十五歲學書，已是稍晚的遺憾。當代著名書法家陳岳先生則沒有這種遺憾，因為他八歲開始習書法，天賦靈通，早悟碑帖，雖家境貧寒，卻能苦修寒暑，歷經數十個春秋的心追手臨，成為翰墨碑帖的知心人，也是法傳魏晉風韻，修為唐法盛典，功建宋人尚意的大手筆！

書法質感源于碑骨之勁，這并不是陳岳先生的獨特，而是歷代書法大家的共性。書圣王羲之駕一葉偏舟，渡江北上，去尋找的就是碑學的風骨。他暢游于北中國的奇峰廟堂，觀歷代碑書而感嘆：少時隨衛夫人學書，拘于一家，不知碑學博遠，徒廢年月爾！于是開啟了碑學涵養書法的奇卓路程。唐代歐陽詢騎飛馬而遇碑文，勒馬觀碑，被索靖的碑書所震撼，三日不離，臥于碑前不眠不食，可見碑學的魅力無窮。當代陳岳仍舊是碑學一路的正宗學人，所以他的書法是碑學文化的磨礪勁途，足跡遍歷名山大川、名勝古跡，仰觀摩崖碑林，以至胸襟大開，視野大展，取碑學之風骨，寫千秋之精神，書法依精氣神而奪目動心，傳統書法的正大氣象，重新被當代名家寫就為文化的精彩，所以他的書法成為國內國際的立鼎標桿，擁有文化軟實力的正宗品位！
