陳逸飛，生于寧波，浙江鎮海人，著名油畫家，文化實業家，導演。1965年畢業于上海市美術?？茖W校（現上海大學上海美術學院）油畫訓練班，進入上海油畫雕塑創作室（現上海油畫雕塑院），曾任油畫組負責人。1980年旅美后，專注于中國題材油畫的研究與創作。陳逸飛以“大美術”的理念，在電影、服飾、環境設計等諸多方面都取得了創造性成就，成為文化名流。是聞名海內外的華人藝術家。其作品被中國美術館、中國人民革命博物館和國內外收藏家廣泛收藏。
