【藏品簡介】：光緒元寶是清朝光緒年間的貨幣之一。由湖北兩廣總督張之洞率先引進英國鑄幣機器鑄造銀元和銅元，之后各省紛紛仿效。共有十九個省局鑄造，除中央戶部，地方省所鑄銅元，皆在其正面上緣鐫寫省名。光緒元寶從1898年--1907發行，正常成色為89%-90%。正面鑄有銘文，頂部鑄楷體“XX省造”或“造幣總廠”。光緒元寶是我國使用機器沖壓制作出來的最早的一批錢幣，開創了我國機制幣的先河，在中國貨幣制造史上占有十分重要的地位，并且作為中國機制幣中的盛名譽品，其精美的造型，別致的設計贏得了全世界集幣愛好者的青睞，無愧于近代機制幣十大名譽品之一的美譽，是收藏市場上的一大熱門。

此枚四川省造光緒元寶，正面直讀“光緒元寶”，珠圈外上環鑄楷體“四川省造”，底部鑄貨幣價值:“庫平七錢二”，左右兩側各鑄一四瓣花圖案。珠圈以內，鑄有滿、漢文“光緒元寶”四字。背面刻有龍紋，龍紋錯版偏差15°，龍紋為蟠龍，眼神靈異炯炯有神，龍鱗雕刻細密有致，騰云駕霧，身姿遒勁有力，龍爪張揚，神武有力，龍身盤踞太陽，盡展皇家威嚴大氣。整個錢幣齒輪規整，字體俊秀，品相良好，包漿入骨，雕工精良，實為難得的收藏稀品，是清代銀幣中的精品，極具收藏價值。

四川省造光緒元寶庫平七錢二分銀幣的生產時間為清光緒24年--34年，銀質精良，雕工細膩，甚為難得，由于鑄造時間早，流通區域廣，雕刻深峻，故鱗片清晰可見。英文雕刻較佳，體稍粗而“2”字非常工整，左右兩側亦為中心五點十字花星。川龍中的名版“平頭車”與此最為近似，其為四川龍銀的始祖無疑。所以也是受廣大收藏愛好者最關心并致力于收藏和欣賞的錢幣。
