Plum branches grow freely in nature. The young branches hold their heads high and the old branches stretch out in all directions. They are round and vigorous. They are not only pleasing to the eye, but also full of strength. Therefore, they are called "iron bones".
The composition is simple and clear, the ink is thick and light, and the painted branches and stems are rusty and full of vitality. It is a rare masterpiece of plum blossom. With the contrast of antique rice paper, the whole work becomes antique. Viewing this painting, there is not only the literati ink rhyme of plum blossom, but also the beauty of Chinese classics. In order to highlight the elegant charm of the painting, the painter used pink plum with softer color. It has to be said that the combination of pink plum and classical temperament is really bright and amazing!
