In 221 BC, the Qin Dynasty unified the whole world, and stipulated that the half Liang coin of the outer circle and the inner side was the currency of the whole country, which was the earliest unified currency in China. Change the currency system to second class: gold as the upper currency, with long (there are 16 Liang, 20 Liang, 24 23) as the unit, for huge payments, such as imperial gifts, gifts among nobles, etc; The copper coin with round square hole is the lower coin, which inherits the currency system of the unified pre Qin Dynasty.
