【藏品簡介】：中華民國所鑄袁世凱像背嘉禾壹圓銀幣，俗稱“袁大頭”，在正式開鑄銀幣前，同樣有用銅沖壓試機這一過程，其試機結果稱為試機樣幣。“初始試鑄幣”—是指任何一款機制幣，一切鑄幣工作已臻妥善，奉批開始鑄幣“后”所產出。

民國時期中央造幣廠嘉禾圖樣品幣一枚，幣面清秀硬朗，銘文字體雕刻清晰，正面圖案是袁世凱的側面像，在頭像的上方是“中華民國三年”，背面的圖案是中間漢字“壹圓”周圍環嘉禾紋飾，錢幣銅銀質精良，形制規整，十分精致美觀，局部略有磨損,試鑄幣，無流通于市場使用，因為第一次鑄造，用銀銅水冷卻后由機器鑄壓而成，所以試鑄幣是當世的完成品樣品，是后續鑄銀幣的對照品，此幣色澤光鮮，品相優異，包漿自然，紋飾深淺適度，具有極高的藝術鑒賞和收藏價值。
