【藏品簡(jiǎn)介】：清代玉扳指又稱搬指或班指，源于古代“揲”，《詩(shī)經(jīng)》中曾有“童子佩揲”之語(yǔ)，《說(shuō)文》云：“揲，射決也，所以鉤弦，以象骨系著右巨指”。可見(jiàn)扳指的用途早就為人們所熟知，即是古人射箭時(shí)戴在右手大拇指上，用以鉤弦的用具，多以象骨制成。最初是為了練射箭習(xí)武用的，戴在左手拇指上，這樣拉弓射箭的時(shí)候可以防止快速的箭擦傷手指，到后來(lái)不打仗了，但人們已經(jīng)漸漸習(xí)慣佩戴了。到后來(lái)完全就是為了裝飾用，象征著權(quán)勢(shì)和地位。所以基于以上幾點(diǎn)，琉璃扳指主要有以下幾個(gè)寓意：在古代，戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)是少不了的，作戰(zhàn)者需要機(jī)智過(guò)人才能保全性命。所以扳指作為武器器械是權(quán)利，是實(shí)力，是健康，是機(jī)敏。基于此，將琉璃扳指送給他人的寓意便是健康的體魄、機(jī)敏的思維和工作上的順利，能夠像在疆場(chǎng)之上戰(zhàn)無(wú)不勝攻無(wú)不克。
