繳獲來的民國三年“袁大頭”舊銀元上，在袁世凱頭像右側打上了“蘇維埃”的戳記，為我所用，以示區別，用來發展革命根據地經濟，保障紅軍供給和紅色政權建設。而國民黨曾將不少蓋有“蘇維埃”的銀元回爐重鑄，因此蓋有“蘇維埃”戳的“袁大頭”并不多見，具有一定的收藏價值

此枚中華民國三年袁大頭蘇維埃版，藏品雖然經歷了無窮歲月的洗禮，但是如今保存依然較為完好。其色澤光鮮自然，紋飾深淺適度，邊緣線條粗細均勻，間距也疏密一致。人像、發絲、胡須、穗芒等細微之處清晰有度，生動自然。民國三年“袁大頭”正面為袁世凱五分側面像，右側刻著“蘇維埃”，上列“中華民國三年”六字，背面兩條嘉禾，左右交互，下系結帶，中鑄‘壹圓’二字。即使是“百年高齡”，但是仍然保存完整，品相較好。它是一枚具有很高收藏價值的精品銀元。
