青白釉瓷是我國宋代時期燒造的瓷器品種之一。它以釉色介于青、白之間，青中有白、白中閃青而得名。晚清稱為“影青”、“映青”等。宋代文獻僅見青白瓷一名，無影青之稱。晚清至民國有“隱青”、“映青”、“印青”等名稱。如許之衡《飲流齋說瓷》“素瓷甚薄，雕花紋而映出青色者謂之影青”。宋代燒造青白釉瓷的瓷窯較多，而以江西省景德鎮窯所燒造的青白釉瓷器最佳，無論數量、質量、造型、釉色都無可相比，集中地代表了南方青白瓷系的最高水平。

據考古資料分析，景德鎮窯五代時始燒青瓷和白瓷，質地較為粗糙。宋代改燒青白瓷，以質地精良、產量巨大嶄露頭角。青白瓷在釉色上接近南方越窯青瓷的風格，而在造型和裝飾上卻又大量地吸取了北方定窯的特色。因此說，它是集“南青北白”之大成。青白瓷一直享譽海內外。半個世紀以來，特別是近十幾年來，在亞非一些國家遺址中陸續出土了一定數量的我國宋元時期的青白瓷，如日本、南朝鮮、菲律賓、馬來西亞、巴基斯坦、埃及等地都出土過青白瓷，說明在我國宋代青白瓷貿易是十分發達的。
