【藏品鑒賞】：咸豐元寶是中國古代錢幣之一。清朝咸豐年間，太平天國農(nóng)民起義發(fā)展迅猛，并在江蘇南京建都，此時清政府賴以鑄錢之用的滇銅（云南省出產(chǎn)的銅料），因道路阻斷而無法運進北京。一方面是鎮(zhèn)壓起義急需大量的軍餉開銷，一方面是鑄錢的原材料告缺，給清政府造成了嚴重的財政困難，最終迫使清政府自咸豐三年開始發(fā)行紙幣和改鑄大錢來彌補財政虧空。

咸豐元寶一直被收藏家們視作無價之寶。地域性政權(quán)發(fā)行貨幣的時間也相當(dāng)短，加上流通地域狹小，所鑄貨幣價值不菲。另外，由于發(fā)行紙鈔，導(dǎo)致銅幣發(fā)行量較少，故價格也較高。古錢幣的背部多為光面，也有少數(shù)有星紋、月紋、四出紋、祥云紋、瑞雀紋等特殊記號和表示錢監(jiān)、鑄造年代的文字。咸豐元寶背星月紋大錢，目前相對來看，五十、當(dāng)百稍多，其中尤以當(dāng)五百少見，當(dāng)千尤為少見。
