【藏品簡介】：唐軍長是幣界的俗稱，實際是唐繼堯紀念銀幣，云南省造，正面為唐繼堯正像或側像，上銘“軍務院撫軍長唐”，正像幣下有嘉禾，側像幣則無。因從左至右讀為唐軍長比較順口，于是這個稱謂一直流傳下來。背面正中為交叉的雙旗（五色旗和十八星旗），上銘“擁護共和紀念”，下面是三錢六分記重面值（即5角）。圖為正像幣正面。唐繼堯紀念幣還有金、銅幣多個品種，當時在云南地區發行量很大。
[introduction to collection]: the military commander of Tang Dynasty is a common name in the coin industry. It is actually a commemorative silver coin of Tang Jiyao, made in Yunnan Province. On the front of the coin is a portrait or side portrait of Tang Jiyao, with the inscription "military academy caresses the military commander of Tang". There is Jiahe under the portrait coin, but no side portrait coin. Because it is easier to read from left to right as the commander of the Tang Dynasty, this title has been handed down. In the middle of the back is the crossed Double Flag (five-color flag and eighteen star flag), with the inscription "in memory of supporting the Republic" on the top and the heavy face value of three yuan and six Fen (i.e. 5 jiao) on the bottom. 唐繼堯銀幣是云南省為紀念反袁擁護共和勝利而制造發行的。是民國時期云南省主要的流通貨幣之一。據《云南近代貨幣史資料匯編》記載，云南造幣廠曾于民國六年八月奉督軍、省長公署之令鑄造唐繼堯紀念銀幣，但由于模型“不臻完美”，不再制造，后經修改模型，于民國七年十月一日再次制造二十萬元并由富滇銀行發行。故存世唐繼堯銀幣有側面和正面兩種版別。銀幣正面為唐繼堯正面像，上環有“軍務院撫軍長唐”七字；背面圖案珠圈內上方有一顆醒目的五角星，下方為五色旗和十八星旗相交叉，上環有“擁護共和紀念”六字，下環有“庫平三錢六分”六字，表示該幣重量，左右兩側分列有小五角星。民國六年（1917年）八月制造的初版銀幣則是唐繼堯側面像。民國七年（1918年）十月一日開始制造的是唐繼堯正面像銀幣。唐繼堯正面像銀幣有兩種版式，泉友習慣把這兩種版式分別叫旗心點版、網眼版。不知各位能否區別。唐繼堯側面像銀幣存世量比唐繼堯正面像銀幣存世量少得多、因此市面上售價也高得多。
The silver coins of Tang Jiyao were made and issued in Yunnan Province to commemorate the victory of opposing yuan and supporting the Republic. The first silver coin made in August 1917 is the profile of Tang Jiyao. On October 1, 1918, Tang Jiyao began to make silver coins with a positive image. There are two types of silver coin on the front of Tang Jiyao. Quanyou used to call these two types flag heart dot and mesh. I wonder if you can tell the difference.
