【藏品簡介】：中國錢幣源遠流長，品種紛繁，是中華民族傳統文化中的瑰寶，具有很高的收藏與投資價值。幾千年來中國的貨幣文化，凝聚著中華民族的智慧與才能，創造出自成體系、光彩奪目、獨具特色的東方貨幣文化光緒元寶是清朝光緒年間流通的貨幣之一。由湖北兩廣總督張之洞率先引進英國鑄幣機器鑄造銀元和銅元，之后各省紛紛仿效。共有十九個省局鑄造，除中央戶部，地方省所鑄銅元，皆在其正面上緣鐫寫省名。
[introduction to collection]: Chinese coins have a long history and numerous varieties. They are treasures of Chinese traditional culture and have high collection and investment value. For thousands of years, China's currency culture has condensed the wisdom and talent of the Chinese nation, creating a systematic, dazzling and unique Oriental currency culture. Guangxu Yuanbao is one of the currencies circulating in the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. Zhang Zhidong, governor of Hubei Province, first introduced the British coining machine to produce silver and copper coins, and then the provinces followed suit. There are 19 provincial bureaus casting, except for the central household department, local provinces casting copper yuan, all in its front edge engraved with the name of the province.
光緒元寶是大清光緒年流通大面值貨幣之首，是我國首批引進海外技術的印發流通貨幣，對于現今也蘊藏了一定歷史意義。廣東省造光緒元寶在中國近代機器鑄幣史上屬一個大系列，其鑄期歷時甚長（從光緒22年—光緒34年[1896至1908年]），歷經十余載，幣模幾經更替，即使同一鑄造年份亦往往由于修模、幣材、工藝技術、工廠管理等諸多因素，造成版別異常繁雜。
Guangxu Yuanbao is the first currency of large denomination in Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, and the first batch of printing and distributing currency of overseas technology in China. It also has some historical significance for the present. Guangxu Yuanbao in Guangdong Province is a large series in the history of modern Chinese machine coinage, and its casting period is very long (from Guangxu 22-guangxu 34 [1896-1908]). After more than ten years, the coin model has been changed several times. Even in the same casting year, it is often caused by many factors such as mold repair, coin material, technology and factory management, which makes the edition extremely complicated.
光緒元寶被稱為貨幣收集行業的白銀之寶。它是滿族文化的產物。由于清朝是世界的滿洲人，光緒元寶也結合了滿族的一些文化因素。它是中國近千枚現代銀幣中最具影響力的銀元，也是現代中國貨幣改革中的重要角色。因為它是一種實物貨幣，人們對貴金屬的認可，以及對歷史和文化的強烈認同感，所以在收藏中并不是很多人。在民間藏人的手中，只要他們收集一個，他們就有更高的“價值”，這是很少存在的，因此更有價值。
Guangxu Yuanbao is known as the silver treasure of currency collection industry. It is the product of Manchu culture. Since the Qing Dynasty was a Manchu in the world, Guangxu Yuanbao also combined some cultural factors of Manchu. It is not only the most influential silver dollar among nearly a thousand modern silver coins in China, but also an important role in the currency reform of modern China. Because it is a kind of physical currency, people's recognition of precious metals, as well as a strong sense of historical and cultural identity, so there are not many people in the collection. In the hands of folk Tibetans, as long as they collect one, they will have a higher "value", which is rare and therefore more valuable.
