【藏品簡介】：古往今來，以祝壽為題材的瓷器與擺件數不勝數，錢幣作為祝壽主題的幣種卻極為稀少。在錢幣收藏界，有一種久負盛名的銀幣，以其制作異常精美、存世量稀少而被列為中國近代機制幣十大珍，也被人們千百年來的尋找與挖掘，這便是廣東省造雙龍壽字幣。

光緒元寶是中國最早的機制洋式銀元，俗稱“龍洋”，因銀元背面一般鑄有龍紋而得名。此廣東省造光緒元寶雙龍壽字幣庫平七錢二分，該銀幣正面珠圈外上端鐫刻“廣東省造”四字，下端鐫刻楷書“庫平七錢二”五字，左右兩側各鐫有一蝙蝠圖案，珠圈內鑄有滿漢文“光緒元寶”四字。銀幣背面珠圈外鑄雙龍戲珠圖案，珠圈內鑄一圓形“壽”字。銀幣設計極富特色，正面兩側所鑄的一對蝙蝠圖案寓意吉祥。因蝙蝠的“蝠”字與“福”字諧音，與背面的“壽”字相對應，寓意“福壽雙全”。
Guangxu Yuanbao is the earliest machine-made foreign style silver coin in China, commonly known as "Longyang". It is named after the dragon pattern on the back of silver coin. On both sides of the coin is engraved with the word "Guangxu coin" and "Guangxu coin". On the back of the silver coin, the pattern of double dragons playing with pearls was cast outside the bead circle, and the word "Shou" was cast inside the bead circle. The design of silver coin is very characteristic. A pair of bat patterns cast on both sides of the front imply auspiciousness. Because the word "bat" and "Fu" are homophonic, corresponding to the word "Shou" on the back, implying "both happiness and longevity".
此幣鑄于光緒三十一年(1905)初，為紀念慈禧七十壽辰而鑄，且由于是限量發行，或未能正式流通，存世稀少，因此收藏價值較高。在我國近代銀幣中，屬于非常獨特的一種，收藏價值和升值空間都有巨大的潛力！
