【藏品簡介】：軍政府造四川銅幣是辛亥革命時期的產物。1911年12月發生成都兵變以尹昌衡、羅綸為正副都督的四川軍政府取代了成立僅12天的大漢四川軍政府。新的四川軍政府成立之初即面臨著需用日繁、度支日絀的財政困窘局面。軍政府迅速接管了四川成都造幣廠，決定鑄造四川銅幣以應急。民國元年4月，四川成都造幣廠奉軍政府之令，更換前清龍紋銅元舊模，雕版民國銅元新款。正式開鑄軍政府造四川銅幣”，開模鑄造“軍政府造四川銅幣”（也稱“漢”字銅元）。開鑄之初僅發行十文、二十文兩種錢幣。同年5月，又添鑄當五十文一種，當年計鑄十文銅元6055萬余枚，二十文銅元1247萬余枚，五十文銅元935萬余枚。民國2年，除繼續鑄造十文、二十文、五十文銅元之外，又增鑄重當制壹百文銅元。 因此，壹百文銅幣，極為珍貴，市場價值更是不菲。
