任玉嶺,原為國務院資深參事,全國政協第八屆委員、第九、第十屆常委, 國家教育咨詢委員會委員,中國書畫協會名譽主席,中華海峽兩岸書畫藝術家 協會主席。任玉嶺先生既是科學家、經濟學家、社會活動家,也是著名的書法家。他曾任中國星火計劃總工程師,廣西北海市副市長,中國味精技術公司董事長,中農資源上市公司監事長,1993年任全國第八屆政協委員,繼之被選為第九、第十屆全國政協常委,2002年被朱镕基總理聘任為國務院參事,并延續三屆之久。此間,又被政治局委員、副總理劉延東聘任為國家教育咨詢委員會委員,是中國書協會員,擔任中國書畫家協會副主席、中國書畫家協會名譽主席,中華海峽兩岸書畫藝術家協會主席。任玉嶺考察了32個國家,走遍中國1200多個縣市,被55種雜志聘為編委、主編,被15所大學聘為教授。翻譯科技書籍3冊100萬字,出版科技、經濟、詩詞與書法專著25冊之多。
Ren Yuling was formerly a senior counsellor of the State Council, member of the eighth, ninth and tenth Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, member of the National Education Advisory Committee, honorary chairman of the Chinese painting and Calligraphy Association, and chairman of the cross strait painting and Calligraphy Artists Association. Ren Yuling is not only a scientist, economist, social activist, but also a famous calligrapher. He once served as the chief engineer of China Spark project, vice mayor of Beihai City, Guangxi Province, chairman of China monosodium glutamate Technology Co., Ltd., and chairman of the board of supervisors of China agricultural resources listed company. He was a member of the eighth CPPCC National Committee in 1993, and then elected to the standing Committee of the ninth and Tenth CPPCC National Committee. In 2002, he was appointed as a counsellor of the State Council by Premier Zhu Rongji, and lasted for three terms. During this period, Liu Yandong, member of the Political Bureau and vice premier, was appointed as a member of the National Education Advisory Committee. He is a member of the Chinese Calligraphy Association, vice chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, honorary chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, and chairman of the cross strait Artists Association. Ren Yuling visited 32 countries and more than 1200 counties and cities in China. He was employed as editorial board member and chief editor of 55 magazines and professor of 15 universities. Translated 3 volumes of scientific and technological books with 1 million words, and published 25 volumes of Monographs on science and technology, economy, poetry and calligraphy.
任玉嶺先生書畫創作起步甚晚,但因其童子功深厚和功外之功博大而強勁。所以他的書法一問世便非同凡響,連續五次獲得辛亥革命100周年、共和國60周年、共產黨90周年、文化部舉辦的百人書畫傳承人展覽及海峽兩岸交流展金獎,2018年又獲得了在哈薩克斯坦阿斯塔納舉辦的國際博覽會文化展覽金獎。共和國成立七十周年時,又被推薦出版了《共和國第一部書法大紅袍——近現代書法名家·任玉嶺》一書。他出版的《草書諸葛亮出師表》《狂草懷素自敘帖》都受到書法讀者的歡迎。他被譽為書法五大泰斗之一,書畫界領軍人物。全國政協兩會聯袂推出任玉嶺為《德藝雙馨藝術家》,互聯網中心用中英文雙語推出了《走向世界的華人藝術家任玉嶺》,同時有近200個網站向世界作了報道。
2020年人大政協兩會官網特別推薦任玉嶺先生為德藝雙馨藝術家。他的書法作品曾被多次拍賣,捐獻慈善事業。2016 年在廣東東莞一次拍賣中,任玉嶺先生的書法作品就拍出 120 萬元,除 10%留給任玉嶺先生購買紙筆外,其余 100 多萬在現場捐給了中國扶貧大王。為推動河南老家的鄉村振興,又特別捐款70萬元用于鄉村振興。這些年來,任玉嶺先生依據社會的需要和百姓對他的期待,先后捐出四個“任玉嶺收藏及作品展覽館”,均在 1000 平米以上,皆為永久性展覽館。任玉嶺先生用他的大愛無疆的精神感染和影響著一代又一代中華兒女,不忘初心,牢記使命!

【下筆走龍蛇 氣勢奪山川】
任玉嶺的書法寬厚,尤以行草最工。他的行草書法以勢取法,率性落筆,灑脫自如,其行草磅礴大氣,氣勢開闊,收放自如,有筆走龍蛇之瀟灑,有風挾海濤之遒勁。行筆一氣呵成,絕不拖泥帶水,字里行間一氣貫注。字體遒勁如枯樹盤根,筆墨力透紙背,然又以不可思議的輕盈飄逸展現行云流水自然流暢。筆法上計白當黑,濃淡枯濕、頓挫徐疾、提按轉承圓熟精湛,毗無斧鑿痕跡。筆畫牽絲勾連、顧盼呼應,左旋右轉,令人目不暇接而心潮澎湃。字體上戒上密下疏,戒左密右疏,戒內密外疏,具中宮緊結,鮮活跳躍。字不字之間,跌撲縱躍,蒼勁多姿。布白參差錯落,飛動流暢,疏密、斜正、大學極富動態之美。運筆狂縱雄奇,環折跳蕩,風行雨慪,呼嘯奔騰。大有“飄風驟雨驚颯颯,落花飛雪何茫茫”的書景。不過,我認為,任玉嶺的行草風格不是用堆疊的語言可以準確描述的。如果親臨觀賞他的這些行草作品,雖不用任何言語解釋,但那種氣勢,那種壯美,那種橫掃萎靡的正氣,讓人豁然開朗,頓悟人生中天地之大觀。
