童友明，新中國(guó)培養(yǎng)的造幣設(shè)計(jì)雕刻大師，現(xiàn)代造幣雕刻奠基人之一，中國(guó)印鈔造幣總公司上海造幣有限公司高級(jí)工藝美術(shù)師；退休后長(zhǎng)期受聘于南京造幣有限公司任藝術(shù)顧問。1962年畢業(yè)于上海美術(shù)專科學(xué)校后，一直在上海造幣廠（有限公司）從事錢幣設(shè)計(jì)雕刻工作，曾先后于1987年和2000年在上海油畫院、意大利羅馬造幣雕刻造幣學(xué)校和法國(guó)巴黎進(jìn)修深造。
