鍛鐵，中國美術家協會會員，中國山水畫研究院副院長。1960年生于北京，幼從父學習繪畫基礎，后拜北京院著名畫家張仁芝為師學習山水畫，畢業于北京礦業大學美術系。多次應邀在國內外舉辦個人畫展和講座。曾參加全國各種大型畫展，并連續四次參加全國美術作品展覽。《群峰列陣圖》入選第七屆全國美展。
