粉彩是一種釉上彩裝飾瓷,因其彩料中含有鉛粉成分而得此名。粉彩瓷又叫軟彩瓷,景德鎮窯四大傳統名瓷之一,漢族傳統制瓷工藝中的珍品,是以粉彩為主要裝飾手法的瓷器品種。粉彩是一種釉上(在瓷胎上)彩繪經低溫燒成的彩繪方法。粉彩需兩次入窯才能燒造成功,首先在1300度以上的高溫下燒成瓷胎,在出窯的白瓷上再進行畫彩,隨后將其放入700~750度的窯內進行二次烘烤后才能制成粉彩成品。由于粉彩在制作時其焙燒溫度比五彩瓷略低,故粉彩要比五彩絢爛許多,色調以淡雅柔麗見長,在視覺上讓人感覺更加溫馨。

乾隆時期粉彩瓷器上描繪的圖案主題一般按照不同節氣和時令來描繪。在《清宮檔案》中曾有詳細記載:“如乾隆八年十二月初九日,太監傳旨,燒造年節用三羊開泰、上元節用五谷豐登、端陽節用艾葉靈符、七夕節用鵲橋仙渡、萬壽節用萬壽無疆、中秋節用丹桂飄香、九月九用重陽菊花之類、尋常賞花用萬花獻瑞,俱按時令花樣燒造。”從以上記載不難看出,宮廷粉彩的繪畫紋樣,決不是隨意涂抹,雖然表現為程式化構圖,但最終形成乾隆粉彩“有圖必有意,有意必吉祥”的特色,這一構圖風格一直延續至晚清。除此之外,粉彩中還常配有乾隆皇帝的御題詩,詩文有真、草、隸、篆及行書等不同書體,采用圖文并茂的形式,在其他瓷器品種中并不多見。

Although they are represented by stylized compositions, they eventually form the characteristics of Qianlong pastels. This composition style continued until the late Qing Dynasty. In addition, pastels are often accompanied by imperial poems of the Emperor Qianlong. The poems include different books such as truth, grass, poetry, chanting, and running books. They are in the form of pictures and texts, and are not common among other porcelain varieties.
