光緒三十二年(l906)，四川省依照戶部所頒銅元祖模，改鑄“川”字大清銅幣，按干支紀年可分丙午、己酉兩種，幣值有二十文、十文、五文、二文四等。中心“川”字版的大清銅幣皆很少見，然而歷經(jīng)百年，依舊有所存世，真可謂錢幣收藏界的幸事。

此兩枚大清銅幣川字版，錢幣正面珠圈內(nèi)書漢文“大清銅幣”四字， 中心鑄“川”字，珠圈外上端左右兩側分鐫干支紀年“已酉”“丙午”二字，珠圈外兩側中間鐫省份“戶部”“度支部”二字，下環(huán)書“當制錢二十文”，背面珠圈內(nèi)鑄蟠龍圖案，珠圈外上環(huán)“光緒年造”，下環(huán)英文。

近幾年“大清銅幣當制錢二十文”一度成為收藏界和投資界追捧的寵兒,媒體上炒得沸沸揚揚,動輒最少上百萬的價格。據(jù)了解，香餑餑“大清銅幣當制錢二十文”收藏投資價值極高，但是“大清銅幣當制錢二十文”因歷史原因存世量極少，品相好的精品就更稀少，現(xiàn)在一般古玩市場上的多為仿品。如今“大清銅幣當制錢二十文”價格一路狂飆，導致仿品情況越演越烈，真品難求。2016年11月份香港春拍一組（兩件）品相較好“大清銅幣戶部川字版當制錢十文”最終以328萬落錘成交。
