隕石被稱為“來自星星的石頭”，是地球以外未燃盡的宇宙流星脫離原有運行軌道成為碎塊散落到地球或其他行星表面的石質(zhì)、鐵質(zhì)或是石鐵混合物質(zhì)。在墜落到地球后，有的落入大海、荒山、戈壁等人跡罕至之地，即使被發(fā)現(xiàn)，不熟悉的人也會認(rèn)為是普通石頭，真正被發(fā)現(xiàn)的隕石少之又少。

Meteorites are very rare outer space resources, and their authenticity needs to be confirmed by instruments and professionals.
