在清咸豐年間(公元1851—1861年)寶陜局鑄錢中,有一品特殊的錢幣,即“太平重寶背寶陜錢局”,譜批曰“開爐錢”。該錢直徑約50毫米余,是為大錢形制。

此枚錢幣,品文識(shí)書。展目本品,面文“太平重寶”,楷書書體,直讀。其書筆意率真古樸,筆劃起頓著力,十足力道,自然而不做作,風(fēng)格較為獨(dú)特。其背文“寶陜錢局”四字,亦是楷書書體,直讀。書意風(fēng)格亦與面文相當(dāng),無需贅述。當(dāng)然,其也與譜載之拓吻合,自不在話下。一言以蔽之,本品書相可謂開門見山。
