The origin of Japanese currency is the round square hole coin from ancient China, which can be traced back to the Qin Dynasty. In 221 BC, Qin Shihuang unified northern China. He began to use the "half Liang" coin with a round square hole. Do you still remember the story of a monk named Xu Fu who took 3000 boys and girls to the east from the coast of Shandong Province. Yes, at that time, Xu Fu brought the culture of Qin Dynasty to Korea, Japan and other countries, and the culture of currency trading was no exception. In the Tang Dynasty of China, the Japanese government (imperial court) actively adopted the cultural system of the Tang Dynasty, and the currency was also used in the "Kaiyuan Tongbao" copper system of the Tang Dynasty. At the same time, it began to issue "hetongkaihe". At that time, the Japanese were not very familiar with currency. The court began to force the use of money, and this method of linking monetary savings with official positions also played a role in promoting the circulation of money in Japan.
The modern times is the era of the establishment of the unified monetary system. After the end of the Warring States period, Toyotomi Xiuji, who had gained the rule of the whole country, accepted the Tianzheng grand judgment (Large Oval Gold, silver coins), small judgments (small gold, silver), Wenlu Tongbao, etc., which were further perfected by the Tokugawa Shogunate. In the Meiji era, a new monetary system was formed in accordance with the 10 per cent method of Yuan Qian Li. The article introduces a Japanese coin from the 17th year of Meiji. On the front side of the coin is a circle of beads and a small sun with a unique design. On both sides are the branches and leaves of Cherry Blossom arranged in an arc. The characters in the middle are Chinese characters "one circle", and the bottom is a concentric knot made of silk ribbon. On the back, the pattern is "flying dragon playing with beads", and the surrounding characters are "great Japan" and "the 17th year of Meiji".
This silver coin is a common variety of foreign silver coins flowing into China in modern times. Because of the flying dragon pattern on the surface of the coin, it is commonly known as Japan's Dragon ocean. In Japan, the silver dollar was first coined to expel the Japanese (double pillar) and Eagle ocean, which were rampant in Japan at that time, and unified currency. Due to the small amount of Dragon Silver on the front page, people could not accept it for a time. As a result, the Silver Dollar War ended with the defeat of Japan's Longyang. From the seventh year of Meiji to the thirtieth year of Meiji, Japan imitated the fashion of the western countries at that time and implemented the gold standard system. It issued various denominations of gold coins and stopped casting silver dollars the next year. This measure caused a great panic in Japan, selling silver dollars and buying gold. In order to prevent people from trading Longyang into Japan for gold, the Japanese government is ready to sell about 2 million pieces to China, Taiwan, North Korea and other places. Japanese trade silver dollar, there are three formats, the quality of 96.3% - 98%, this period of money in the auction price is the highest, has a very good collection value and appreciation space!
