世人評此為“宋代第一泉”，與新莽并稱中國錢發(fā)“二圣”公元1100年1月，北宋皇帝哲宗病故，由其弟趙佶接替做了北宋第八任皇帝，為宋徽宗?；兆?ldquo;性甚機巧，優(yōu)于技藝”，終日沉迷于書法繪畫，不理朝綱。他在位25年，先后鑄造了圣宋通寶、崇寧通寶(重寶)、大觀通寶、政和通寶(重寶)、重和通寶、宣和通寶(元寶)等6種錢幣，其中最有市場價值的就是“崇寧通寶”、“崇寧重寶”這兩枚古錢幣。

During his 25 years in office, he successively minted six kinds of coins, including Shengsong Tongbao, Chongning Tongbao (chongbao), Daguan Tongbao (chongbao), Zhenghe Tongbao (chongbao), Chonghe Tongbao, Xuanhe Tongbao (Yuanbao), among which the most valuable coins are Chongning Tongbao and Chongning chongbao.
崇寧重寶，系北宋徽宗崇寧年間鑄(公元1102年-1106年)，銅幣正面鐫刻著“崇寧重寶”，字體為隸書，端莊雄秀，古樸方正，嚴謹莊重，法度固定，字里行間留在錢幣上的，是腐蝕錢幣的鐵銹;銅幣背面則沒有印制任何的字體。錢幣的中央部分，是打孔的正方形圖案，方正大方，落落得體，輪廓立體，這種錢幣鑄造形狀便于老百姓將其串起來掛在身上，不易丟失。該銅幣整體制作精良，版面清晰秀美，文字方正，保存良好，在經(jīng)過時間的洗禮，歲月的沖刷后成古銅色，包漿自然，更富有其濃厚的歷史感。
Chongning Zhongbao was made in Chongning year of Huizong of Northern Song Dynasty (1102-1106). The front of the copper coin is engraved with "Chongning chongbao". The font is official script, elegant, simple and upright, rigorous and solemn, and the law is fixed. What is left on the coin between the lines is the rust that corrodes the coin; no font is printed on the back of the copper coin. The central part of the coin is a square pattern with holes, which is square and generous, decent and has a three-dimensional outline. 關于“崇寧重寶”，有一個傳說，謂其面文為蔡京所書，而蔡京書寫時別有用心地將“崇”字的山和宗的豎筆上下貫通，連成一線;將“寧”字繁體之中的“心”省略，被人指責為“有意破宋，無心寧國”。“崇寧”錢存世尚多，版別亦多，但迄今并未發(fā)現(xiàn)有如上所說這種寫法的錢幣。
There is a legend about "Chongning's treasure" that its face writing was written by Cai Jing. When Cai Jing wrote it, he had ulterior motives to connect the mountain and Zong's vertical pen of "Chongning" to form a line; he omitted the "heart" in the traditional form of "Ning", which was accused of "intentionally breaking the Song Dynasty, but not intending to Ningguo". There are still many coins of Chongning, and there are many editions, but there is no coin with the above method.
