這是一對元代樞府霽藍釉白龍紋獸耳玉壺春花口瓶，樞府為元代掌管軍事機構(gòu)的樞密院的簡稱，帶有“樞府”字樣的瓷器當為樞密院的訂燒器，霽藍釉創(chuàng)燒成功于元代，又稱“寶石藍釉”。光亮細膩、滋潤，色澤深沉，釉面不流不裂，色調(diào)濃而均勻，其釉色藍如深海，撇口，束頸，垂腹，圈足，器物通體施藍釉，釉色藍中透亮，底足無釉，胎釉自然，瓶腹處繪有一條三爪龍。龍紋極具特色，細頸長身，龍首高昂，龍頭呈扁長型，雙角，張口露齒；龍爪怒張，筋腱凹凸，三爪龍威猛無比，龍爪戲珠，栩栩如生。上有樞府二字，下有如意云紋。此器純正典雅，器型柔和、端莊、優(yōu)美。是一件十分難得的霽藍釉瓷器精品。具有極高的升值空間與投資價值。玉壺春瓶與梅瓶、賞瓶并稱為“瓶中三寶”，是器物美學發(fā)展史中最具代表性的器型。霽藍釉作為中國傳統(tǒng)制瓷工藝中的珍品，那么，霽藍釉玉壺春瓶，就是珍品中的珍品，寶中之寶。

關(guān)于“玉壺春瓶”名字的來源，一般的書籍都說是因宋人的詩句“玉壺先春”而得名，唐代司空圖的《詩品·典雅》中有“玉壺買春 ，賞雨茆屋；座中佳士，左右修竹” 的句子；“玉壺買春”四字在這里的意思是用玉壺去買“春”（“春”指酒），玉壺指玉制的壺或是指如玉一般的青瓷壺；至于這種壺的形狀是否就是現(xiàn)在所見的“玉壺春瓶”，二者是否能夠直接聯(lián)系起來，均難考實；也有某種可能是后人用“玉壺買春”（或“玉壺買春”）來附會現(xiàn)在的玉壺春瓶，也未可知。
