定窯，是繼唐代邢窯而起，在邢窯的影響下燒造白釉瓷的我國(guó)北方的一個(gè)窯口，屬于宋代五大名窯之一。此窯原為民窯，北宋年間，因一度燒造宮廷定燒瓷而聲名鵲起。
Ding kiln, which is one of the five famous kilns in Song Dynasty, is a mouth of the northern China where white glazed porcelain was fired under the influence of Xing kiln. This kiln was originally a folk kiln. During the Northern Song Dynasty, it became famous for its imperial porcelain.
定窯的瓷器燒造最早可追溯到南北朝時(shí)期，五代時(shí)開(kāi)始燒造以白瓷為主，到宋金年代，是這個(gè)窯口發(fā)展的鼎盛時(shí)期。
Ding kiln porcelain firing can be traced back to the northern and Southern Dynasties. White porcelain was mainly used in the Five Dynasties, and reached its peak in the song and Jin Dynasties.
宋代定窯以燒造白釉瓷為主，定窯的瓷胎特征是胎質(zhì)十分堅(jiān)密精細(xì)，胎薄而顯輕，胎色白凈而略顯微黃。同時(shí)兼燒黑釉、醬釉、綠釉等所謂黑定、紫定、綠定、紅定等彩色釉的定瓷品種。這些彩釉品種是在白瓷胎上罩上一層高溫色釉而燒成。

定窯器以其豐富多彩的紋樣裝飾而深受人們喜愛(ài)。裝飾技法以白釉印花、白釉刻花和白釉劃花為主，還有白釉剔花和金彩描花，紋樣秀麗典雅。

展目該器，定窯剔花蓮瓣紋瓶，口徑7cm，底徑6.1cm，高17cm。通體施白釉，釉色滋潤(rùn)，胎質(zhì)細(xì)膩，但見(jiàn)光澤而無(wú)賊感。紋飾為剔花工藝，剔刻蓮瓣紋，刀功嫻熟，花瓣凹凸清晰，裝飾具有淺浮雕的美感，器形形態(tài)優(yōu)美。底足修切犀利，完整無(wú)缺。呈現(xiàn)出沉靜，典雅的氣質(zhì)，氣韻非凡。
The vase is 7 cm in diameter, 6.1 cm in bottom diameter and 17 cm in height. The whole body is covered with white glaze, the glaze color is moist, and the fetal quality is delicate, but the luster is not thief feeling. The decorative pattern is carved with lotus petals. The knife is skillful and the petals are concave and convex clearly. The decoration has the aesthetic feeling of shallow relief and beautiful shape. The bottom foot is cut sharp and complete.
