1933年和1934年，民國政府鑄造了正面鐫孫中山像，背面鐫一艘帆船乘風破浪前進，俗稱“船洋”。船洋在幣面的設計方面，中華民國孫中山雙帆幣更像是凝聚著千百名工藝技師的智慧源泉和美學獨特視角。錢幣整體呈現出光亮的銀色，正面鐫刻著偉大的革命者孫中山先生的正面頭像，上方印制著“中華民國二十三年”幾個小字，背面則精刻雙桅帆船，左右分別顯示著“壹圓”幣值，幣面整體造型和諧，圖案設計精美，特別吸引收藏者的目光。船洋幣直徑39.5mm厚2.5mm重26.5克,有非常高的收藏價值。此銀幣為屬于極為罕見的民國二十四年試鑄幣,銀幣正面鐫孫中山側面像,上環鐫“中華民國二十四年”八個楷書漢字,銀幣背面中央鐫雙桅帆船放洋圖,帆船兩側鐫楷書“壹圓”各一個字。中華民國孫像開國紀念幣銀元，正面中央為孫中山側面肖像，邊緣內上鐫中文隸書體“中華民國”4字、下鐫“開國紀念幣”5字、左右長枝花飾。反面中央為中文隸書體“壹圓”及嘉禾，邊緣英文“中華民國”、“壹圓”，左右排列五角星(后改為六角星)。直線邊齒，重26.6克，成色96%-96.9%。
