張擇端，字正道，漢族，瑯琊東武(今山東諸城)人。北宋畫家。宣和年間任翰林待詔，擅畫樓觀、屋宇、林木、人物。所作風俗畫市肆、橋梁、街道、城郭刻畫細致，界畫精確，豆人寸馬，形象如生。存世作品有《清明上河圖》、《金明池爭標圖》等，皆為我國古代的藝術珍品。
Zhang Zeduan is a native of Langya Dongwu (now Zhucheng, Shandong Province), Han nationality. Painter of northern song dynasty. During the reign of Xuanhe, he was appointed by Hanlin to be summoned, and he was good at painting buildings, houses, trees and figures. The genre paintings are meticulous in depicting markets, bridges, streets and cities, precise in boundary paintings, and vivid in image. The surviving works include "Qingming Riverside Map" and "Jinming Pool Competition Map", all of which are ancient Chinese art treasures.
