聚寶盆是中國古代民間傳說故事中的一個寶物。傳說明初沈萬三致富原因是由于擁有聚寶盆。這個典故來自于周人龍的《挑燈集異》：“明初沈萬三微時，見漁翁持青蛙百余，將事銼剞，以鏹買之，縱于池中。嗣后喧鳴達旦，貼耳不能寐，晨往驅之，見蛙俱環踞一瓦盆，異之，將歸以為浣手器。萬三妻偶遺一銀釵于盆中，銀釵盈滿，不可數計，以錢銀試之亦如是，由是財雄天下。”

此藏品龍鳳壽星聚寶盆，藏品品像完好，重6.5公斤，口直徑40厘米，高12.5厘米，盆敞口較大，從地面看就像太陽散發光束一般，底部中心浮雕方形落款，為官窯宮廷御用品，滿器采用雕瓷工藝，盆底龍祥紋飾刻畫深刻典型，氣勢磅礴神態逼真，栩栩如生，基本保存完好，大部分圖案紋飾都還十分清晰，摸上去手感微涼，浮雕凹凸有致，顏色較為復古，莊重大氣，古樸富貴，堪稱收藏界的珍稀品種，收藏價值極高。
