光緒三十四年北洋造光緒元寶庫平七錢二分銀幣系光緒34年(1908年)北洋銀元局(舊稱北洋機器局)鑄行。銀幣正面中央珠圈內鐫滿漢文“光緒元寶”四個字,珠圈外上端鐫漢文“北洋造”,下端鐫漢文幣值“庫平七錢二分”,左右兩端各鐫一個圓點。銀幣背面中央鐫蟠龍圖,上環鐫英文“光緒34年”下鐫英文“北洋”,左右兩端稍下側各鐫一個圓點。光緒元寶是清朝光緒年間流通的貨幣之一。共有十九個省局鑄造,除中央戶部,地方省所鑄銅元。是首批引進海外技術的印發流通貨幣,對于現今也蘊藏了一定歷史意義。
“光緒元寶”是中國早的機制幣,是中國近代機制幣中的十大名譽品之一,俗稱“龍洋”,因錢幣背面一般鑄有龍紋而得名。其具有重要的現實意義和歷史意義,且加上清末、民國戰亂連連等因素,一些較珍貴的光緒元寶銀元品種存世量已稀少,收藏價值高。值得廣大藏友收藏。
