“軍政府造四川銅幣”是辛亥革命時(shí)期的產(chǎn)物。1911年12月發(fā)生“成都兵變”，以尹昌衡、羅綸為正副都督的四川軍政府取代了成立僅12天的大漢四川軍政府。新的四川軍政府成立之初即面臨著需用日繁、度支日絀的財(cái)政困窘局面。軍政府迅速接管了四川成都造幣廠，決定鑄造“四川銅幣”以應(yīng)急。民國(guó)元年(1912年)4月，四川成都造幣廠奉四川軍政府之命，開(kāi)模鑄造“軍政府造四川銅幣”(也稱“漢”字銅元)。

近期我司征集到一枚品相與保存都十分完好的軍政府造四川銅幣，
藏品直徑：3.9cm，重量為19g，藏品保存較好，其色澤自然，不論是文字還是圖案，都顯得自然細(xì)膩，深淺合適。正面中書四川銅幣四字，中心作海棠花一小朵，上邊加軍政府造四字，下邊加當(dāng)制錢壹百文六字；背面用十八小圈繞一大圈，圈內(nèi)篆文漢字，以直線紋為底，代表了新政府“大漢”的意思，具有反清含義。有橫向底紋裝修，旁圍十八個(gè)小圓圈構(gòu)成的圓圈，內(nèi)鐫縱向飾紋，標(biāo)志著當(dāng)年呼應(yīng)辛亥革命的十八個(gè)省。上邊加中華民國(guó)二年字樣，其銅字的金旁系連書四畫。
