雙旗貳百文紅銅質直纓版之鑄主，應為川省境內某地方軍閥。民國初年，四川軍閥私自設廠鑄幣之風尚未興起．即有少數亦未成規模，多為購置手搖機具，小批量鑄造，其雕模制版及鑄造工藝皆不能與成渝兩地造幣廠同日而語。故鑄工粗劣的雙旗二百文紅銅質直纓版存世量頗少，甚至少于黃銅質直纓版的存世量。雙旗二百文直纓版無論紅、黃銅質者，皆可按其幣面之嘉穗圖麥穗大小，有無麥芒及麥芒長短、麥粒疏密，而分為若干小版式。
