In July of the 29th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu (1903), the factory was completed and started to issue silver and copper coins.

這枚光緒元寶戶部造二十文，正面珠圈內鑄漢文“光緒元寶”四字，上環滿文，下環書“當制錢二十文”，左右分列“戶”、“部”與梅花星點；反面為蟠龍圖，上下環鑄英文計值。字跡深刻鐫秀，龍紋雕琢精巧。包漿淳厚老道，沁色自然，充溢歲月之痕跡與濃濃的前史沉積感，保藏價值極高。
