廣東省始造后，各省紛紛仿效，共有十九個省局購制國外機械鑄造銅元。滿漢文化與中西文化的融合在小小一枚錢幣上，真實的反應了光緒年間鮮明的文化特色。“戶部光緒元寶”,正面中央為“光緒元寶”及滿文“寶廣”，外環珠圈，上緣紀地文字為“戶部”。下緣紀值文字為“當制錢二十文”；背面中央鑄“飛龍”圖及珠圈，上緣英文紀地“HUPOO”，下緣英文紀值“20CASH”。錢幣為戶部生產，當時的戶部相當于此時的中央央行，是清政府最高鑄錢機構，這枚銅幣是清朝首次引進外國技術以后，戶部發行的，級別比較高，也更為正統并且更具權威，該錢幣表面的包漿自然、歷史留下的痕跡清晰可見，，藏品在柔和的光線下散發出一種淡淡的靈氣，極具收藏價值。
