錢幣的正面鑄有袁世凱的側(cè)身頭像，頂部刻制著“中華民國十年造”幾個(gè)清晰而又顯眼的楷體字體，足以說明錢幣產(chǎn)生的年代以及當(dāng)時(shí)國家的統(tǒng)治階層。反面的圖案則是一對對稱的彎曲麥芒，中間刻有“壹圓”兩個(gè)字作為計(jì)量單位。幣面整體設(shè)計(jì)和諧，圖案精美，工藝技術(shù)特別精益求精。
