此枚錢幣精品“光緒元寶北洋造庫平 七錢二分",系造幣廠于光緒元寶29年(1903)鑄造。銀幣正面中珠圈內鐫滿漢文”光緒元寶”四字，圈外上端鐫“北洋造"，下端鐫幣重庫平七錢_二分"， 銀幣背面中鐫一個珍珠龍，上端鐫 英文北洋"，下端鐫英文幣重“庫平七錢二分"。因其背蟠龍紋鱗甲別致， 如顆顆珍珠鑲嵌，故得別名珍珠龍版。圖照可鑒，其無論文字和紋飾，皆↑分精到，凸凹鮮明，文字筆劃和紋飾線條圓滾，顯示模具沖壓著力深打，致其品相精美無比，其工藝水準也是至今之偽所不能矣。“北洋省造光緒元家“作為幣王省之一，此銀元包漿實際上是銀元表面自然氧化后所呈現出來的光澤與機理效果。銀元表面長時間與大氣水分等物質相作用，與織物、皮膚等物質相互岸擦，其表面所產生的光澤與機理效果，潤洋、 自然，休現銀元質感之美，被稱為”包漿”。
