此藏品為王先生收藏民國時期梳妝盒此梳妝盒為紅木制成，用材厚重，內(nèi)設(shè)多重抽拉與折疊結(jié)構(gòu)，構(gòu)思巧妙，頂部有雙耳。此種家具體積雖小，但加工難度大，對工匠技術(shù)要求很高。此件梳妝盒不僅結(jié)構(gòu)精巧，體型也較一般常見者要大出許多，紅木為豆科紫檀屬的植物。材質(zhì)堅硬，但生長緩慢，成材期都在百年以上，其料材在清代晚期基本已經(jīng)采伐殆盡，紅木均需自南洋進口，但材質(zhì)遜色于內(nèi)地所產(chǎn)。故老器頗為難得。
