此金庫通體皆呈金黃色亮澤，摸上去手感光滑。從正部到背部部底端，有花紋點綴，更添立體感。小金佛的底部印有“唐朝金庫”字樣。從品相上看，黃金佛整體保存完好，是一次性澆鑄而成的。從外表上看，和普通人的大拇指一般大，是不可多得的精品，具有無法估量的收藏價值。藏品雖經歷了無窮歲月，但上面的包漿也見證了其歷史的積淀，具有非常明顯的歷史過渡性特征，有著難以言喻的收藏價值。藏品保存完好，清晰程度好，現存世量稀少，具有很高的歷史價值、投資價值和收藏價值。
