"The military government made Sichuan copper coins" was the product of the Revolution of 1911. In December 1911, "Chengdu mutiny" occurred, and Sichuan military government with Yin Changheng and Luo Lun as the chief and deputy governors replaced Dahan Sichuan military government, which was established only 12 days ago. At the beginning of the establishment of the new Sichuan military government, it was faced with the financial embarrassment that it needed a lot of time and spent more time. The military government quickly took over the Mint in Chengdu, Sichuan, and decided to cast "Sichuan Copper Coin" in case of emergency. In April of the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the Chengdu Mint in Sichuan was instructed by the Sichuan military government to open a mold to cast "Sichuan copper coins made by the military government" (also called "Han" copper coins).
In the year of the Republic of China, the military government made Sichuan copper coins. There was the word "Sichuan copper coins" in the central bead circle on the front of the copper coins, which was divided up, down, left and right, and its center was decorated with hibiscus patterns. On the upper edge of the bead circle, the words "made by the military government" are written, and on the lower edge, the words "when making money, one hundred words" are written, indicating the currency value, and the left and right sides are decorated with flower stars. There is a seal script "Han" in the central circle on the back of copper coin, and there are dozens of horizontal and straight lines at the bottom of the word, so coin collectors also call it "Han" copper coin. There are 18 small circles around the circle of "Han", representing the eighteen provinces at that time. The combination of 18 small circles around the word "Han" means that the people of 18 provinces will unite and fight for "expelling the Manchus and restoring China". It bears the distinctive mark of the times during the Revolution of 1911 and witnessed the magnificent history of the Republic of China!
After more than ten years' cultivation, the coin auction market represented by mechanism coins finally shines brilliantly. This copper coin is made of red copper, and it is also a wrong version of the coin. The word Sichuan on the front of the coin is asymmetrical. It is a fine copper coin with high collection value. The Sichuan copper coin made by the military government represents the monetary culture of modern China, and reflects the rise and fall and vicissitudes of modern history, economy and finance in China. As the saying goes, "scarcity is the most precious thing". As a special currency of local government in a special historical period, it has irreplaceable cultural relics value and other characteristics, so it is very precious from the perspective of collection and investment.
