五帝錢指的是中國歷史上五位帝王在位期間所鑄造并流通的古錢，又稱為"帝王錢"。五帝錢有大五帝錢與小五帝錢之分。小五帝錢又稱“清代五帝錢”，是順治帝的順治通寶、康熙帝的康熙通寶、雍正帝的雍正通寶、乾隆帝的乾隆通寶和嘉慶帝的嘉慶通寶。
The money of the five emperors refers to the ancient money minted and circulated during the reign of five emperors in Chinese history, also known as "imperial money". 嘉慶通寶形制較小，這種較小的錢幣現在很少，比較珍稀，值得收藏。錢面文字以楷書書寫“嘉慶通寶”四個大字，錢背穿孔左側鐫一滿文“寶”字，穿右為滿文鑄造錢局名“泉”。“嘉慶”的“嘉”，寓意完美和諧，因而嘉慶通寶極受藏友喜愛。
