Guangxu Yuanbao made in Shaanxi Province is one of the three silver dollar sample coins in Birmingham Xidun Mint. In the late Qing Dynasty, Zhejiang, Jiangnan and Shaanxi all entrusted Birmingham Xidun Mint to mold and provide coinage machines. After the mold was completed, a few sample coins were made in Britain. Modern mechanism silver coins are rich in variety due to the independent coinage of each province in the late Qing Dynasty. These three kinds of silver coins made stunning appearances with their noble varieties and perfect appearance, and were praised as "the three sample coins of Xidun Factory" by Quanjie.

In 1898, Shaanxi Province made Guangxu Yuanbao Kuping seven-money-and-two-cent silver coin, which was cast by Xidun Mint in Birmingham, England. It was unreleased, with mirror plate bottom and exquisite casting. It is one of the rarest varieties of dragon silver in Qing Dynasty, and there are only a handful left in the world. In the forties of last century, whether Shaanxi or Fujian silver dollar was used as the index for everyone to hide silver dollar in Quanjie. It can be seen that the sample coins of Guangxu Yuanbao Kuping, made in Shaanxi Province, were the most weighty heavy weapons in Chinese spring circles at that time, which were precious and unusual.

There are very few silver coins of seven money and two cents made in Guangxu Yuanbao Kuping in Shaanxi Province in China, and China is the last country in the world to end the silver standard currency system. As a modern mechanism with a huge amount of historical precious metal currency, silver dollar once had the most extensive users, holders and collectors in old China. At that time, people collected silver dollar as precious metal and monetary wealth, not as collectibles.
Moreover, in the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, and for a long time after liberation, the actual stock of modern silver coins in China was huge, and they were not regarded as cultural relics at all. It was precisely because of the long-term large-scale exchange of silver coins by the People's Bank of China that the actual stock of old folk silver coins became less and less, and eventually became a rare collection with the passage of time.
