蔣蓉（1919-2008年），別號(hào)林鳳，出生于宜興一個(gè)紫砂世家，為紫砂藝術(shù)界著名的“七大老藝人”之一，也是其中唯一的女性。她一生都在專研紫砂壺制作，從仿制大師名家作品中不斷精進(jìn)技藝，同時(shí)研究中國傳統(tǒng)美術(shù)，也是中國高級(jí)工藝師、中國工藝美術(shù)大師，藝術(shù)造詣極高。蔣蓉大師文思敏捷，從藝多年，對紫砂藝術(shù)有著較為深刻且獨(dú)到的見解，善用動(dòng)物、植物等自然形體通過藝術(shù)提煉再創(chuàng)新，自如的運(yùn)用到紫砂壺作品中來，所制紫砂壺造型獨(dú)特，意趣盎然，設(shè)色逼真，自成一派，給人精神上的愉悅享受。
Jiang Rong (1919-2008), nicknamed Lin Feng, was born in a purple sand family in Yixing. She is one of the famous "seven old artists" in Zisha art circle and the only female among them. 近些年來蔣蓉的紫砂壺市場相當(dāng)出眾，隨著藝術(shù)品市場的崛起，傳統(tǒng)手工藝制品也開始大放光彩。早在1955年，蔣蓉的一套《荷花茶具》就在全國陶瓷工業(yè)會(huì)議上被評為特種紫砂工藝品。在2009年交易會(huì)上，蔣蓉、范曾合作的蓮藕倒流壺以131萬元拍出；2012年名壺會(huì)場上，一件蔣蓉款蓮藕酒具也拍到了172萬元；2018年5月6日，蔣蓉制老南瓜壺也以251萬元高價(jià)成交，價(jià)值不菲。
