論古錢幣的價值，當屬清朝光緒年間流通的貨幣——光緒元寶為最。清代機制銅圓的鑄造始于1900年(清朝光緒二十六年)，止于1911年(宣統三年)。光緒元寶是近代中國錢幣中的精品，也是價值很高的革命文物，清朝中驚天動地的歷史都刻畫在這枚小小的錢幣之中，極具歷史意義。
