雙子佛像，源自唐初期。我國自漢代以后，青銅制品逐漸減少，但絕不意味著銅器的絕跡。尤其是封建統(tǒng)治者，他們對青銅器的崇尚心理始終沒有消失。對于銅器制作，我們?nèi)钥衫沓銎錃v史發(fā)展的脈絡(luò)。魏晉時青銅器鑄造罕有精品，遺留器物鉸少。唐代社會財富空前驟增，文化藝術(shù)達到了我國封建社會的鼎盛階段。金屬的冶煉和鑄造工藝發(fā)展達到一個新水平。但唐王朝較為重視金銀器，銅質(zhì)禮器、酒器明顯減少，而作為日常生活用具的銅鏡則明顯增多，質(zhì)量越過前代，厚實光亮，或呈銀白色，或為黑褐色。這一時期佛教盛行，佛教用具如銅缽、凈水瓶、佛像等鑄造亦多。兩宋時代，金石學(xué)興起，考古風(fēng)盛行，文人及官員多嗜好銅器，無形中推進了銅器的研究和制作。尤其是北宋中期以來，宋徽宗趙估崇古好古，仿古成癖，宮廷大量制造銅器，所制器物多以商周至漢代真器為模式，雖仿得逼真，然神氣不足。書中云雷乳丁紋銅爐、三足圓鼎、銅爵、銅鉦皆出自宋代。三足圓鼎，四周為夔龍紋，銅質(zhì)優(yōu)良、鑄工考究。銅爵仿三代爵的器形，銅鉦仿春秋戰(zhàn)國時期禮樂重器之形。此件器物極為稀有，是唐代民間大作。極其具有收藏價值。

Especially since the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty, Zhao, the Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty, valued the good antiquity and became obsessed with it. A large number of bronzes were made in the court. Most of the bronzes were made in the model of the real bronzes from the Shang Zhou Dynasty to the Han Dynasty. Although they were lifelike, their spirits were insufficient. In the book, the copper stove, tripod round tripod, copper Jue and copper Zheng all come from the Song Dynasty. The tripod round tripod is surrounded by Kui dragon pattern, with excellent copper quality and exquisite casting work. The bronze Marquis imitates the shape of the three generations of marquis, and the bronze Zheng imitates the shape of the important instrument of the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period. This artifact is extremely rare and is a folk masterpiece of Tang Dynasty. It is of great collection value.
