清代機(jī)制銅圓的鑄造始于1900年（清朝光緒二十六年），止于1911年（宣統(tǒng)三年）。鑄造流通時(shí)間盡管只有十余年，但其鼎盛時(shí)期全國(guó)共有十七省二十局開(kāi)機(jī)鑄造銅圓。十七省二十局先后鑄造的當(dāng)十銅圓，各不相同，版式繁多。僅以明顯區(qū)別劃分，其版式就有數(shù)百種之多。如以細(xì)微區(qū)別劃分，其版式在千種以上。因此當(dāng)代銅圓收藏愛(ài)好者每每以搜尋不同版式的銅圓為最大樂(lè)事。

該幣直徑3cm厚1.6mm，包漿熟舊，銅幣正面：上緣為“宣統(tǒng)三年”四字，下緣為“百枚當(dāng)銀幣一圓”七字，中間為珠紋圈，圈內(nèi)有雙嘉禾紋及豎“十文”二字。背面：外緣為豎讀“大清銅幣”四字等距分布，中間連珠紋圈，圈內(nèi)為一蟠龍紋。整體觀之，制作精細(xì)，造型規(guī)整，圖案設(shè)計(jì)簡(jiǎn)潔大方。
